Course Information:

ACLS stands for Advanced Cardiac Life Support, which is a set of clinical guidelines for the urgent and emergent treatment of life-threatening cardiovascular conditions that will cause or have caused cardiac arrest, using advanced medical procedures, medications, and techniques. ACLS teaches healthcare professionals advanced interventional protocols and algorithms for the treatment of cardiopulmonary emergencies, including primary survey, secondary survey, advanced airways, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, tachycardias, bradycardias, and stroke.

Pre-assessment requirements:

Prior to class, please complete the pre-assessment and bring/email a copy of your completion certificate. You must complete prior to attending class. Obtain the book/manual from your facility's education department for assistance with preparation and the pre-assessment.
